This kitchen in north London shows perfectly how modern kitchen design can fit into a period building. This Edwardian house has been extended making the kitchen area a larger and more sociable family space.
The kitchen units are finished in white matt laminate and offset with natural grey acacia wood. Handless Touch latches on the cupboards emphasise the streamlined look. The beautiful Cimstone composite island surface reflects the light from the traditional French windows and skylights is both practical and easily maintained. The aubergine splash back adds a touch of glamour and gives the design its signature colour. Stone, wood, glass and laminate combine to make one of our best designs yet.
The equipment consists of a Siemens oven, microwave, induction hob and extractor. A wine cooler from Rangemaster. Fisher & Paykel fridge-freezer and a De’Longhi coffee machine. Sink and tap is by Blanco.
